Dr. Katherine Ellison built our program around one belief: that no one should be told they have run out of options. As Medical Director she owns every clinical decision behind our Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation care — from candidacy screening and protocol selection to the fine adjustments that keep a course on track — and she reviews each patient’s plan personally.

Katherine has spent more than twenty years in clinical psychiatry, much of it working with people whose depression, anxiety, or OCD never responded to medication. That experience shapes how our clinic operates today: cautious about safety, guided by evidence, and unhurried with the people in the chair.

Colleagues describe her as exacting on protocol and remarkably calm with patients — the person who slows a conversation down until someone feels genuinely understood. She trains our physicians and technicians to the same standard and stays close to the research, so the care you receive reflects where the field is now, not where it was a decade ago. Away from the clinic, she teaches and speaks on making interventional mental-health care more humane.
